We understand that life is busy and we are pleased to be able to offer online prescription requests, at your convenience, using the form below.

If you would prefer to speak to one of our team about your pet’s ongoing medication requirements, you can call the practice during our opening hours.

To collect medication from the practice
Please submit the form below and await confirmation from us (by telephone, text or e-mail) that your pet’s medication is ready to collect.
Please allow a minimum of two working days for our vets to review your request and for you to be advised that their medication is ready for collection.
In some circumstances your pet’s medication may be ordered through suppliers who do not deliver to us daily - in these cases, your pet’s medication may not be ready as quickly - we will keep you updated if this is the case.

After agreeing your requirements with our veterinary team, please complete the form below.

For online orders if you have already paid a prescription fee…
Please place your order and forward your order confirmation to hello@dumbledorevets.co.uk with your pet’s name and surname as the subject.
We will e-mail the prescription to your chosen online pharmacy.

For local pharmacy orders if you have already paid a prescription fee…
We will e-mail your prescription to your chosen local pharmacy, or contact you as soon as the written prescription is ready for collection from the practice.

If you have not already paid a prescription fee…
We will send you a payment link by e-mail and / or text when we receive your prescription request form (and your online order confirmation, if relevant).
Your pet’s written prescription will be sent to your chosen online pharmacy / e-mailed to your chosen local pharmacy / available for collection from the practice once we have received payment.

IMPORTANT
In line with UK prescribing guidelines, our vets may not be able to authorise prescription requests in some circumstances, as they may need:
- an up to date weight (especially if your pet is still growing)
- to discuss your pet’s medication request further with you
- to see your pet for a medication review appointment
Our team will contact you ASAP after receiving your request if this is the case.

CONTROLLED DRUGS
Please note that we can only authorise written prescriptions or dispensing of Controlled Drugs for a maximum of 28 days treatment at a time.
The Veterinary Medicines Directorate and Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons support the use of installment prescriptions and these can be requested accordingly.
Please note that some local pharmacies may not accept installment prescriptions and if monthly written prescriptions are required there will be a written prescription fee associated with each document that we produce.
